The Student Jobs Network service operating WerkAround Belgium is responsible for data submitted directly through this site. Use the contact page for privacy requests and current controller contact details. When you ask us to send an application to a named employer or recruitment partner, that recipient may also process the application under its own privacy notice.

The exact fields depend on the action you choose.

We use data to provide the service you request, route an application, answer an enquiry, operate job alerts, protect the site, prevent abuse and maintain accountable delivery records. Where processing is optional, such as analytics, advertising measurement or broader job offers, we rely on your consent. Security and reliable service operation may rely on legitimate interests; legal records may be kept where required by law.

Application data is shared only with the employer or recruitment partner connected to the application route you selected and only where the required application consent is present. Infrastructure, hosting, database, email, file-storage and analytics providers process limited data for us under their service terms. We may disclose data when legally required. We do not sell applicant data.

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer must use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards. Ask through the contact page for current provider and safeguard details relevant to your record.

We keep each record only as long as needed for the requested service, delivery evidence, security, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. Retention differs by record type. You can ask for the current period that applies to your data. We use access controls and audit records, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Automation may help route applications, check required fields, detect duplicates and support job-quality review. It is not intended to make a solely automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects for an applicant.
